Our process
Choosing a tankless unit starts with how your household uses hot water. We look at the number of bathrooms and fixtures, how many showers run at the same time, your fuel source and your existing gas line and venting. Gas models suit larger households and need proper venting and gas supply. Electric models are compact and work where gas is not available, but they may need an electrical upgrade.
From there we size the unit by flow rate, recommend a model and give you a free estimate. Installation includes mounting the unit on the wall, running the gas or electrical supply, venting, connecting the water lines and testing everything. We also show you how to care for it: hard water leaves scale, so an annual flush keeps the heat exchanger clean and the unit running efficiently.
Tank or tankless?
A tankless unit is not the right answer for every home. It costs more up front than a basic tank, and it needs a correctly sized gas line and venting, or enough electrical capacity for an electric model. In exchange you get years of lower energy bills, a unit that hangs on the wall instead of taking up floor space, and hot water that does not run out halfway through the second shower.
